Rhymin’ N Stealin’ resuscitates audiences with high-energy performances of Beastie Boys favorites.  Unlike the typical tribute band, Rhymin’ N Stealin’ doesn’t ask for nostalgia or remembrance – they show audiences why the Beastie Boys still kick ass right now.  Part intricate homage, part obsession, Rhymin’ N Stealin’ has set itself apart from the tribute band rank and file since forming in 2009.  After selling out their first show at the House of Blues Dallas, Rhymin’ N Stealin’ earned national notoriety by meticulously recreating the Beastie Boys experience, headlining Public & Corporate shows across North America.

Kyle Smith (Ad Rock)

Kyle began performing at the age of 14 as the frontman for such notable punk bands as Vertical Smile and Afro Kitchen. He’s traveled the world over, making his early living as a “professional rollerblader,” he even competed in the very first X-Games. In 2003, he joined the cast of Ad-Libs, DFW’s premier improv troupe. All of this has led to his current dual life as a rapper/salesman.

Josh Martin (MCA)

Born and raised in Louisiana, Josh moved to Dallas, TX at the age of 18 to begin his career in entertainment. Since 1994, he’s written and produced short films, co-owned operated, and performed in his improv, sketch, and musical comedy troupe, and even provided body talent for Barney (the purple dinosaur) on the award winning world tour. He now serves up the fresh rhymes with his band mates. Also, coincidentally, Josh "has more rhymes than he has grey hairs, and that's a lot because he's got his share!"

Jason Cockburn (Mike D)

Born in Seattle, but raised in Central Texas, Jason Cockburn has lived all over the US and on three continents. After getting his first live theater gig at the age of eight, Jason has continued to work in and around the entertainment industry for most of his life, performing in many different plays, bands and independent movies. As the head creative guru of Deguello Productions, Jason works as a songwriter, singer, screenwriter, videographer, director, and producer.
